Over the years I’ve had it confirmed again and again, people who buy art have their own personal reasons for selecting a piece they want to call their own. They bring their own meaning and assign their own context to a piece based on their memories, personalities and life experiences.
When someone chooses one of my pieces, I’ve occasionally been surprised by the choice, but always gratified and even humbled when they share the stories or influences behind their selection.
Obviously, I want their choice to bring them continued pleasure throughout their lifetime.
