We sat down with Megan Shoemaker inside her home studio on a beautiful spring afternoon, catching her mid-brushstroke on a new painting. Megan is an emerging artist based in Lincoln whose thousand-crane installation at the Burkholder Project touched hearts across the community. She works in painting and origami and holds a studio in the Burkholder’s basement.
